Is there any flexibility on the available dates and times shown in the information about packages?
Yes, we will always try our best to work with specific dates and timing requests. However, Markshall is also a popular visitor destination with a busy events programme; sometimes we may not be able to accommodate preferred dates and times. On these occasions, alternative dates and times will be offered.
What drinks are available?
Our Coach House bar will be fully stocked, with soft and alcoholic drinks, for your event. Purchases can be made throughout your celebration. The Honywood Barn will also be able to provide soft and alcoholic drinks. If there is something specific you would like to see behind the bar for your event, please let us know. We also have the facilities to provide hot drinks. Please let us know your requirements when booking.
Will there be special lighting?
The Coach House has fairy lights as a permanent feature. Running between the beams and along the walls, they create the perfect ambiance. Our Honywood Barn also has fairy lights around our two central beams which highlight the beautiful structure of the 15th century building. You are welcome to bring additional lighting for your celebration, though please discuss this with us first. Candles are not allowed.
I only need a small space, are you able to section off the venue?
Yes, we have lovely dividers which we can provide for your event, in either of the venues.
Are tables and chairs provided?
Yes, please speak to the team to discuss your seating requirements. We have a large number of tables and chairs available for you to use.
