Halloween at Markshall with Percy’s Adventures

This October half term we have a spooktacular week of activities for all the family to get involved with.

As well as wicked witch hazel trail and fish food to feed our monster fish in the lakes, there is so much more for those booked on to Percy’s Adventures to get involved weekdays during half term:

Cryptic Crossword Trail
The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition to honor the dead. In Mexico they speak Spanish. Therefore, to solve the cryptic crossword, head into the Day of the Dead Dwell to learn Spanish words and match them to the creepy characters.

Spooky Story Sessions
Venture to the storyteller’s base. Listen to spooky stories under the canopy and be entertained by our storytellers.

The Day of the Dead Experience in the Creepy Coach House

Please note that the Coach House is a dog free zone.

To complete your day of Percy’s Adventures, enter the creepy Coach House and experience Dia de los Muertos. Enjoy the bright colours and thrilling music and choose three crafts from five:
1- Glow in the dark lanterns
2- Day of the Dead Halloween themed wreath
3- Glow in the dark paper puppets
4- Create your own creepy Halloween character
5- Glow in the dark masks
Head into the movie area with your new glow in the dark creations and watch the Coco movie, played throughout the day. And, if you’re feeling heroic, dare to put your hand in the eight Day of the Dead boxes and guess what’s hiding inside.
It wouldn’t be Halloween without the trick-or-treat station. Choose your cup and see what you have inside. Will it be a trick or a treat?

And new to October 2023 is the SEN Area. This area is ideal for families who would like to participate in all the fun activities away from the busy Coach House. Booking required.
