We’re delighted to announce that Markshall Estate is now open. On your next visit you’ll notice some essential new social distancing and Covid-19 precautions that we’ve needed to put in place, and we ask all visitors to follow these instructions carefully.
All visitors must follow the latest Government guidance for travel, outdoor spaces, and meeting people from outside your household, which can be found on the Government website.
Our indoor areas will remain closed to help fight the spread of coronavirus, however you’ll find our outdoor Plant Centre will be open so you can take some of the outside home with you.
Our new online shop is now open, so this time we would like to encourage you to order gifts and keepsakes online, and you will be able to collect them when you visit.
We’ve also made the following changes across the site which we hope will help reassure our visitors:
The current situation is constantly changing and the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and volunteers is of paramount importance to us. We’ll continue to review what we do in line with the latest advice from Public Health England.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of Markshall Estate during this time. As a charity, we rely on the generosity of our visitors, members, donors and funding bodies. Every time you take a walk in the Arboretum, purchase a gift from our shop, or become a Member, you are helping us to fulfil this mission.
