Opening times and prices

As a charity, we rely on the generosity of our visitors, Friends, donors and funding bodies. Every time you take a walk in the Arboretum, enjoy a delicious lunch in our Orchard Kitchen or become a Friend, you are helping us to fulfil this mission.

Opening Times

Summer Opening Hours from Monday 1 April:

Tuesday – Sunday

Last admission 3.30pm

The Honywood Tearoom open Friday – Sunday with last food orders at 2.30pm and last service at 4.30pm, closing at 5pm

Percy’s Pantry open serving snacks, hot and cold drinks Tuesday – Thursday, 10am – 4.30pm

Car park locked 5pm

Prices

Friends visit free – Become a Friend and enjoy Markshall Estate all year round. Memberships start from £47, join today.

Every visitor will be able to pick up a bag of fish food to feed the hungry fish in the lakes for free.

*Standard admission prices include Gift Aid – if you choose our Gift Aid admission ticket we can claim 25% of your ticket price from the UK Government for our charity’s conservation work. Support worker/carers free. That 25% supports projects like the Himalayan and new attenuation lake project.

We accept Gardener’s World 2 for 1 vouchers on non-event and term times only. Please contact the Visitor Centre Team if you would like to check any dates that you are unsure of.

Your admission fee also includes a trail for the children to take part in. The trails have shorter routes for those with little legs. We try and change our trails regularly and the current trail is the Pixie Doors Trail.
